What is Frame Styling?

 

Frame Styling is a complimentary one-hour appointment at our Brooklyn eyewear design studio created to help you find frames that suit your face, style, and everyday life.


How long is the appointment?

 

Each Frame Styling session lasts one hour.


Where does Frame Styling take place?

 

Frame Styling takes place in person at our Brooklyn studio:

What should I expect during the session?

 

You will try on a curated selection of frames and receive guidance on frame shape, fit, color, and proportion, so you leave with clarity and confidence about what works for you.

 
Frames and prescriptions
 

What frames will I try on?

 

You will try on frames designed by Selin Olmsted Studio with the studio’s client brands including Raen, Carla Colour, Rachel Comey, Ollu, Article One, Sabah, See Eyewear, and others.


Do I need a prescription to book?

 

No. You do not need a prescription to book a Frame Styling session.


Do you provide lenses or eye exams?

 

No. Frame Styling focuses on frames only, so eye exams and prescription lens services are not included.

If you need an eye exam or prescription lens service, we can suggest nearby options with great customer service, lens quality, and pricing.


What if I’m not sure what eyewear style I want?

 

That’s exactly what the session is for. We’ll help you explore different options and narrow down what works best for you.

 
Booking and policies
 

Who can book Frame Styling?

 

Frame Styling is open to anyone looking for personalized, expert guidance in choosing their new pair of eyewear.


Do I need to book a Zoom consultation first?

 

No. The Zoom consultation is optional and available as a 15-minute call if you’d like to ask questions about the session before booking.


Do I need to purchase frames during the appointment?

 

Yes. Frame Styling is complimentary for customers who are planning to purchase when they find the right pair. There is no pressure to decide quickly, but the appointment is intended for those actively exploring new eyewear.


How do I pay?

 

If you find a pair you love, you can complete your purchase in the studio by credit or debit card, cash, Venmo, or Zelle.


Do you accept insurance?

 

No. We do not accept insurance directly. However, we provide a receipt for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your provider and plan.


Can I cancel or reschedule?

 

Yes. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
